My dissertation work is on the development of a low-temperature plasma equation of state (EOS) Fortran library that can be used in-line with radiation hydrodynamics codes. This allows codes to calculate the appropriate thermodynamic quantities without the need to rely on an external data set provided by a third party. It is also optimized for low-temperature results which is not commonplace in the ICF community.
